All families need services and supports that are accessible, friendly and easy to navigate. The Child and Family Hubs Framework (the Framework) was co-created by the Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership and ARACY and brings together the evidence to build, support and develop Hubs. Importantly, the Framework was informed by extensive consultation with children, families, practitioners and Steering Committee members of the National Child and Family Hubs Network.
Key elements of the Framework.
The Framework will:
- enhance partnerships and connections among key child and family-focused agencies across Queensland and potentially Australia
- foster a common language and understanding of Child & Family Hubs
- synthesise research, experience and learnings into an evidence-based practice framework
- form the basis for developing a national practice framework as well as an evaluation framework.
The Child and Family Hubs Framework outlines best practice in the design, delivery and/or evaluation of hubs across a range of settings.
