The Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) is embedding three researchers across three organisations. The Researcher in Residence (RIR) program supports the development and growth of Child and Family Hubs at Sunraysia Community Health Service, IPC Health and DPV Health and Key Assets Australia on Norfolk Island.
The program aims to make evidence available and actionable in community organisations to inform service model design and practice. It also seeks to generate evidence about what works to engage and support families, particularly those experiencing adversity. The RIR program focuses on collaboration, active participation of stakeholders and a commitment to shared learnings. The researchers in these roles will help to build a learning system and culture to be responsive to the needs of children and families.
The RIR program is funded by the Brian M. Davis Charitable Foundation.
To find out more about the RIR program please contact Dr Suzy Honisett.
