The Child and Family eHub (eHub) was developed with families to help them navigate to the right information and services to meet caregiver and child needs. The eHub was recently evaluated with over 250 caregivers of children aged 0 – 12 years across the three trial sites in NSW – Fairfield and Marrickville, and Victoria – Wyndham.
Preliminary results show most caregivers found the information and services provided through the eHub useful to meet their child’s needs and were satisfied with using the eHub.
One caregiver from Marrickville commented on how the eHub supported them:
Reassurance, I guess, like kind of stopping you from being like ‘Oh, should I go to the doctor’…[the eHub was] more like a first step and like, ‘Oh, okay, well, now, I don't have to’.
These evaluation results will be used to develop the next stage of the eHub and continue to support families with an equitable online way to better navigate information and services to meet their families’ wellbeing needs.
